Leni Georges (she/her) is a film-obsessed student from Luxembourg. Growing up, she has lived in two worlds. One in the south of Luxembourg, and the other in her books. She’s roamed around in the dark streets with Dostoevsky, sat in the lighthouse with Virginia Woolf, and plunged headfirst into the bell jar with Sylvia Plath. Leni won the Prix Laurence in 2024 with her text “Preacher liked the cold”, where she explores obscure and dark themes through introspection. The highly expressive 19-year-old writes her reviews on Goodreads and Letterboxd and has her own blog where she uploads her own writing, film reviews, and essays. She hopes to study English, Drama, and Film in Ireland and later return to her home country to stay creative. https://leniswagger.blogspot.com
