Manifesto
for an artistic
revolution
Dear fellow dreamers and comrades,
Luxembourg proudly speaks of diversity and inclusivity in its public spaces and sophisticated diplomatic speeches, but when you step into its prestigious cultural institutions, you’ll often be confronted with a very different experience. What we so often see are the same familiar narratives repeated by the same familiar voices. And we notice how the doors of our cultural institutions remain closed, not only to those who don’t fit the mold, but to anyone who refuses to perform for it.
Don’t be fooled, this is not a flaw in the system, it is actually the system working exactly as it was designed to. The suffocating weight of elitism has long silenced our cultural spaces and this thick silence isn’t just a lack of voices, it’s a deliberate exclusion…
Which is why, and at the soul of our passion, we urge on declaring art as the language of revolution: May creativity become the pulse of the communities that refuse to be silenced!
Rest assured that this is not an invitation, it is rather a call for action to join us and reclaim what is rightfully ours!
Artists!
Your art is the force! Your vision represents what’s necessarily needed! Your voice is the raw and unfiltered truth of who we are and want to become! Unleash your wild, untamed creativity and reject the old world’s pressure to create safe and pleasant art! Together we will paint the walls of revolution and overthrow the status quo with the unbreakable power of art!
Institutions!
Will you keep standing in the way of real change and push the same exclusive circles, or will you join us in breaking the cycle of privilege in art? Do you want to be modern institutions of culture or museums of the past? This is not an imploration, it is a demand for justice and inclusion!
People!
Art is not a luxury! It is the mirror of our society and it should not only reflect its beauty, but also its ugliness, hypocrisy and potential! Art is the hammer and sickle of change! It is the tool that builds and demolishes! Art is the space where we meet as equals, where class and borders don’t exist, where courage conquers and community flourishes!
Together! We will march as the frontline of the cultural revolution without exclusion!
Together! We will create stages for the bold and unconventional!
Together! We will be a promise to artists and communities that have been ignored!
Together! We will build safe spaces where dialogue can thrive!
Will you be mere spectators, or will you surrender as creators of a new cultural revolution? Will you join the fight and help us burn the old walls and make new possibilities explode? Fear nothing! But open your heart and stand with us for a future where no voice is silenced!
You don’t need permission to create and exist: share your art, your voice and your vision! Tell the stories that challenge you and support the art that moves you!
Demand more, not just from others, but also from yourself!
Together! We will return art to its revolutionary roots!
Together! We will resist!
Together! We will be heard!
Together! We will transform!
Common Ground
The first step to join the cultural revolution starts at Rotondes with Common Ground, the 2026 Triennale curated and staged by La Concierge.
More than an exhibition, this year’s Triennale is a call to reshape cultural spaces. Common Ground is inspired by the global spirit of nightlife and merges visual arts and music to inspire dialogue and change. Step in and discover 20 emerging artists from Luxembourg and the Greater Region challenging norms, breaking divisions and inviting you to feel and transform.
Where are the cultural spaces that truly reflect our diversity?
The exhibition opened on 26.06.2026 and will run until 30.08.2026 at Rotondes. Alongside the exhibition, a dynamic framework of conversations, screenings, creative workshops, concerts and other cultural events will take place throughout the Triennale’s duration.
Join the community and be part of the revolution!
