Samanta Gombauld grew up in Guadeloupe, studied business at INSEEC in Bordeaux, and spent years working across Mexico, Shanghai, Saint Lucia and Hong Kong before finding home in Luxembourg. With her wife Xian Zhang from Guizhou, China, she founded Lovo Nova in December 2023 — a design brand creating high-quality pins, jewellery, socks and accessories that celebrate LGBTQAI+ identities and minorities, sold at Prides across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. More than a brand, Lovo Nova actively employs LGBTQAI+ members, raises funds for Cigale in Luxembourg, and co-organized Guadeloupe Pride.
