As a mystic, witch, and anarchist, I take a holistic approach to magic and spirituality, avoiding dogmatic, rigid vibes at all costs. I don’t reject traditions mindlessly, nor do I follow them without reflection. I intuitively pick and choose what feels right at the given moment, rather than sticking to a set system of practice and belief.

For these Spring 2025 Queeroscopes, I checked out what planetary transits will take place this spring, what the three seasons (Aries, Taurus, and Gemini) will represent, and how they’re affected by said transits. I personalised this for each sign and predicted how these general vibes may affect them personally. I also pulled Tarot cards for each sign to get an intuitive glimpse into what vibes we may expect for each specific energy.

Obviously, we are all made of different energies, a mix of signs in numerous placements, and as the Zodiac represents the wheel of life, the cycles we revisit each year, I believe that we have all 12 energies within us, and that is what makes us whole. Although cosmic determinism is a slippery slope, the stars incline us, NOT bind us. So I do think it is useful to see what happens with different energies exuded in different placements that are specific to you. However, I do not think that it is only your sun sign that matters, and you should follow horoscopes as something imposed onto you. Rather, I would suggest checking whatever you’d like in any way you’d like, taking and leaving according to your own intuition.

For example, if you’re a Pisces sun, Capricorn moon, and Leo ascendant, you may check all of these signs and their polarities (Virgo, Cancer, Aquarius) to see what may pull you from another direction. The less you identify with one single energy, the better, as it shows you that different vibes you may radiate from within your light body may be contradicting, which I think favours our openness to ambiguity and helps us resist a desire for homogeneity, singularity, and imposition of binary relations onto things, situations, and people.

Astrology relates to our astral bodies – what light shone onto us as we were born, and how it may impact us in the course of our lives, as different configurations of celestial lights keep shining on us. It’s as if we talked about how the weather conditions may impact our mood swings, blood circulation, breathing. But one thing that we don’t speak enough about is that none of that impacts our freedom of choice, and that choice is always within us, no matter the signs. Whatever you’re inclined to do, whatever happens to you naturally, is not all of you, and as the universe personified, as energy physically manifested, you always have a choice on how you move through whatever may be destined to you. Fate happens no matter what, but how we fulfil it is absolutely up to us.
